Here are a few photos taken during the solar eclipse. In addition to how wicked cool it is to watch something like this, it was a lot of fun because a bunch of my neighbors were outside watching, and we hung out together and talked about how cool science is. :D

My favorite thing about solar eclipses: how weirdly dark it gets. It’s so obviously not just regular twilight. There is something so different about the light, something I’m not sure I even consciously can detect, but there is some part of my brain which says, “Wow, this looks so WRONG.”
